The Beginning

The roots for our company began when Tim Lawler founded Lawler & Associates.

1991

Johnson-Schmidt and Associates

Lawler & Associates officially became a division of JSA.

1996

Negley Design Inc. (NDI)

Ron Negley established Negley Design based out of Portersville, PA, it created a strong location for employees to provide excellent service.

2010

Wilson Lawler Engineering, Inc, LLC (WLE)

Lawler & Associates becomes WLE with Kevin Wilson and Tim Lawler as founding members.

2014

Justin Vernam

During this year Ron Negley retired and Justin became the sole owner of NDI.

2015

WNA Engineering Inc.

Wilson Lawler Engineering and Negley Design Inc. merged to create WNA. Tim Lawler Retired and became a consultant to WNA Engineering.

2016

Expanding Ownership

Chris DiCianna became an owner of WNA Engineering.

2017

Pittsburgh Office

As our business grew, we obtained more space in Pittsburgh to enhance our partnerships and our growing network.

2018

New Employment

The firm’s growth continues with the addition of more experienced and talented engineers and designers.

2021

Growing Leadership

Jeffery S. Vodenichar and Jason Heilman become partners at WNA Engineering.

2022

Achieving Success

Through our more than 60 team members, WNA continues to grow the business platform, providing partners the necessary resources to expand their businesses.

2023

Philadelphia Office

WNA Engineering acquires Vinokur-Pace Engineering Services (VPES) of Philadelphia. Incorporated in 1968, WPES had a rich history providing engineering and planning services throughout the Philadelphia region.

WNA Engineering serves clients in 40 states, working from three offices in Pennsylvania. The firm serves all commercial market sectors, with special focus on corporate, health care, education, industrial, and retail.”
