As our CAD/BIM Technician, you will get to work on a diverse level of projects with a team to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conduct Independent Building Surveys and Assessments of Existing Conditions.
• Utilize 3D Laser Scanners to Capture Existing Data within a Point Cloud Model.
• Travel up to 80% of the workweek to project sites within the United States and Canada.
  • Note: All Travel expenses are paid in full by WNA Engineering, Inc.
• Coordinate Travel Arrangements and Deadlines with Team and Project Managers.
• Develop Hour Estimates and Proposals with Team and Project Managers.
• Process Survey Information into Field Reports and Provide Summary to Clients.
• Convert Point Cloud Data into Accurate AutoCAD and/or Revit As-Built Drawings.
• Aid Internal CAD/BIM Teams when not Surveying or Converting Information.
• Develop, Manage, and Improve Internal Procedures.
• Participate in Team and Organizational Meetings.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ Years of Experience in the Construction Industry or 2 Year Associates Degree in an Applicable Field of Study.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong Understanding of Building Construction, Architectural Components, and Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection Systems.
• Previous Experience with 3D Laser Scanners or Converting Point Cloud Data.
• Ability to Manage and Organize Travel Arrangements to Multiple Site Locations.
• Ability to obtain or already has a Passport for Travel
• Proficiency in Revit Software.
