The Pittsburgh office of nationally recognized law firm Steptoe & Johnson PLLC moved into a 23,000 square foot space in 2023. The new office has a footprint which is 40% larger than the firm’s previous Pittsburgh office.
Located at One PPG Place, WNA Engineering provided complete MEP engineering services for the entirety of the space, including private and open offices, conference rooms, reception area, café, storage rooms, copy/print room, wellness room, core toilet rooms, elevator lobby, and other supporting spaces.
Electrical engineering services included design modifications to the existing power distribution for power, lighting, HVAC power, fire alarm design, and coordination for tele/data and security.
HVAC design services included modifications to the existing heating and cooling systems, and code related ventilation requirements.
Scope of work for plumbing design services included modifications to the existing natural gas system, domestic water system, water heating, sanitary and vent for the building.
WNA also handled fire protection drawings including modifications to the existing sprinkler system.
