The International Day of Women and Girls in Science recognizes the importance women and girls play in the science and technology communities. It also serves as a reminder that their participation should be supported and encouraged. Fresh perspectives, creativity, and effective solutions are more easily achieved from diverse communities. We are grateful for a successful close of 2023, which included 14 individuals joining WNA. 2024 is looking bright and we look forward to strengthening our valued customer and partner relationships in the new year.

Design Pittsburgh recognizes outstanding architecture and design in the city, and the individuals who create it. The annual celebration includes a juried Design Awards competition, and a public voting opportunity for the People’s Choice Award. Congratulations to all the winners. WNA Engineering is proud to be part of these nominated and winning projects.

September 2023 marked the grand opening of a multipurpose athletic and events space in Leetsdale, PA. Rize Sports is a 90,000 square foot project of The Sports Facilities Companies. In addition to three basketball courts built to NCAA design specifications, the facility includes a commercial kitchen, and cafe lounge seating areas for spectators. We are proud to be part of the Re-Build Manufacturing project for RIDC (Regional Industrial Development Corporation), providing MEP/FP design services for the project. The renovation of the 175,220 square foot manufacturing facility in New Kensington, PA brings advanced manufacturing solutions for small to large manufacturing customers.
